President Duterte Urged the Public to Assert Fight Against Corruption

President Duterte urged the public to assert fight against corruption. He even promised to incentivize those who will report and to immediately act on reports against those involved in corrupt practices. 


But who else can have the audacity to report corruption in government if it would only mean dismissal from the service just like what happened to former BIR Director Othello Dalanon who was sacked for reporting BIR Dulay Corruption to President Duterte?

It's been two (2) years now since the President was officially informed of the corruption issue involving Dulay thru the former BIR Director Othello Dalanon’s letter-report, but the President remains mum about it. 

The BIR DULAY CORRUPTION has been publicly exposed via - 

✅Social media or Facebook postings;
✅Publication in MSM:
▪️The Manila Times by Mr Ramon T. Tulfo
▪️GMA News Online by Mr. Flor Taguinod
✅Mass actions held by RDRG at - 
▪️BIR National Office in Quezon City 
▪️Philippine Senate in Pasay City 
▪️National Press Club in Manila
▪️Mendiola (Front of Malacanang Gate) 

With all these discourses, it is believed to be infeasible that PRRD still doesn't know about the issue. 

His deafening silence on Dulay's case clearly demonstrates tolerance despite the severity of the criminal offense Dulay has committed against the Republic of the Philippines. And therefore, President Duterte’s anti-corruption mantras are EMPTY RHETORICS. 

Dalanon was PRRD’s appointee in BIR as Director 1 assigned to the Office of the Commissioner where he discovered and exposed the WORST CORRUPTION ever in BIR history involving commissioner Caesar Rivera Dulay himself - in the extremely anomalous settlement of Cosmos Bottling Corporation's (Cosmos) P3.76 billion deficiency tax liabilities for only P51 million. 

The Court of Tax Appeals, in its Final Decision (CTA Case No. 9405 dated 25May17), already ruled that Cosmos’s P3.76B tax liabilities attained finality; BIR’s settlement for only P51M was invalid and without the approval of the Bureau’s Evaluation Board. 

On 13 February 2018, Dalanon reported this anomaly to the President thru the then SAP, now senator Bong Go. 

On 08 February 2019, Dalanon again submitted a report to the President reiterating the aforementioned anomaly and that of the Del Monte's P8.7B tax liabilities which was also grossly reduced to only P65M. 

Sadly, on 25 June 2019, Dalanon was dismissed from BIR for reporting the worst corruption ever in BIR history involving President Duterte’s long-time friend and former YMCA Dormitory room mate BIR commissioner Caesar Rivera Dulay.
